Many thanks for the invitation to this most enjoyable show. A very good entry and a convivial atmosphere, lots of friendly faces some of whom I only see once a year. Some excellent exhibits and I was fortunate to have my friend Richard Barlow to steward for me, thank you Richard.
BLUE POINT ADULT MALE:
1.CC.W/H. LINDGREN’S SUDUKIMI SHAINEFAR 26.4.11 Not quite a year old and looking very immature. He was nervous and overwhelmed by the occasion. Medium length head with ears held high. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with good blue colour. Body lacking muscle tone at present and needing more growth, fine legs, tail to balance - lacking in masculinity. Points colour was good with toning shading on a white coat but he needs time to mature.
CHOCOLATE POINT MALE:
BOB CH.DRESTOTHRIL DJANGO 19.4.2011 Striking young male of exquisite type and style. Lovely straight wedge with excellent top of head and large flared ears. Excellent profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Graceful head carriage and long firm body with slender legs and long whip tail. Rather dark points but they were certainly chocolate and an ivory coat of quality.
CHOCOLATE POINT FEMALE ADULT:
1.CC.HETHERINGTON’S HEGIRA GRACIE DARLING 27.10.10 Fine boned lady of good overall type with good top of head and well placed ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Slightly full eyes, the colour could be deeper for perfection. Well defined neckline and long firm body with slender legs and whip tail. Bitter chocolate points and some shading on a coat of excellent length and texture. Very shy.
CARAMEL POINT ADULT FEMALE:
BOB. WITHERS’ GR.CH.TINTALLY TICKERTY BOO 15.5.10. Mature, graceful, well grown queen of quality. Lovely top of head and large flared ears. Straight profile, level bite and firm chin. Excellent eye shape with oriental set and deep blue colour and imperious expression. Proud head carriage and long, svelte body of stylish type with slim legs and whip tail. Good caramel points and coat of good texture just a fraction long. Excellent condition and preparation.
FAWN POINT FEMALE ADULT:
IC. GREEN’S TOGHAR PERSEPHONE 24.6.11 Just old enough to compete with the adults and as a result looking a trifle immature. Good top of head and well placed ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape, slightly straight set with colour which needs to be deeper for perfection. Well defined neckline with long firm body, slim legs and long whip tail. Delicate fawn points and a clear coat which was short, smooth and close lying.
TORTIE POINT ADULT:
1.CC.BOB.POUNDS’ JOMESE JENNI-IGOTBLUSPOTS(32b2) 2.11.2010 A striking young queen of exquisite quality. Excellent top of head with beautifully placed large ears. Straight profile, good chin and level bite. Eyes of oriental shape and set with deep blue colour. Delicate neckline and long firm body of stylish type with slender legs and long whip tail. All points well mingled and a close lying coat which was very slightly long. Very stylish, showed herself well.
2.CLEGG’S TSAICHIN DOLLYMIXTURES(32b3) 11.7.11 Dainty queen, not so well grown as the winner and not such a show off either. Good top of head and large well placed ears. Almost straight profile, pinch to muzzle, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with clear blue colour. Fine type overall with long body, slim legs and whip tail. Well mingled points and a clear coat of excellent length and texture.
SIAMESE/BALINESE GRAND PREMIER MALE:
GR.PR.SKIVINGTON’S PR.TINTALLY DIZZEE RASCAL(24n) 9.5.10 A wonderful example of the breed looking his best on the day. Good top of head and large well placed ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour and endearing expression. Good head carriage and long muscular body of excellent type with slim legs and whip tail which could do with an extra inch. Good points colour and coat of exquisite length and texture. Bombproof temperament.
RES.GR.PR.EVANS’ IMP.GR.CH.& PR.ABICASA THEGYPSYBARON(24n) 6.9.02 Yes, I have got the date of birth right! What a credit to the owner and the breeder that this venerable gentleman can still hold his own with the best. Balanced wedge with good top of head and well placed ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Excellent eye shape, just a fraction straight set, with deep blue colour. Long body, very well fed, slim legs and a tail which could do with an extra inch. Good points colour and minimal shading on coat of good length and texture. I think he found it all a bit of a bore.
TABBY POINT NEUTER MALE:
1.PC.BOB.MILES’ SIMPLYSMITTEN SIMPLYRED 28.3.09 Mature boy with an endearing temperament. Good length head with well placed, large ears. Straight profile, pinch to muzzle, level bite. Oriental eye shape and set with lovely deep blue colour. Stylish head carriage and long muscular body with slim legs and long whip tail. Good red points and slight toning shading on a coat which was short smooth and close lying. Beautifully presented in excellent condition.
RED POINT NEUTER MALE:
BOB.WEBB’S GR.PR.LITTLEFEAT TEXAS TWISTER 5.3.10 Very stylish and elegant with a good length wedge and well placed large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Excellent oriental eye shape and set with sapphire blue colour. Fragile neckline and fine boned type overall with slim legs and long whip tail. Bright red points and a short, close lying coat of excellent quality. Shown in superlative condition, excellent temperament.
TORTIE POINT NEUTER:
1.PC.BOB.RYCRAFTS ASHJOLEX AURORABOREALIS(32b8) 7.4.11 Some lovely ladies in this class but this one sparkled – it was love at first sight. She looked positively ethereal. Stylish overall with a straight wedge and good width between large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Lovely oriental eye shape and set with deep blue colour. Long firm body, slender legs and long whip tail. Points mingled with pale caramel and an off white coat which was short smooth and close lying. Beautifully presented.
2.POUNDS’ IMP.GR.CH.JOMESE JENNY MANYDOTTS(32b1) 3.8.07 This mature lady ran the winner close but, sadly, she lost out to the better eye colour of her opponent. Strong head with straight lines to the muzzle and good width between large ears. Straight profile, level bite and good chin. Slightly full eyes of oriental shape with clear blue colour which needs to be deeper. Excellent head carriage with well defined neckline and long muscular body with slim legs and long whip tail. All points well mingled and some toning shading on a coat of excellent length and texture.
3.VEAL’S PIPISTRELLE ESMERELDA(32b1) 8.2.11 Slightly overwhelmed looking young lady with good top of head and ears which she held slightly high. Almost straight profile level bite and good chin. Eyes lack oriental shape and set with beautiful sapphire blue eye colour. Fragile neckline and slightly immature body with slim legs and good length tail. All points well mingled and a coat of good length and texture.
