Mr C Dryden 2013With a Bumper entry and such a great atmosphere it’s a show that should not be missed. I had a really lovely day surrounded by some really very high quality cats. I judged some excellent cats and especially in BIS where the line up was of a very high standard. Particular note must go to the Fawn Point Adult who was superb with a beautiful coat and super points colour and with size and substance. The Blue Tortie Neuter for me was gorgeous and for me was the epitome of the Siamese breed size substance and elegance. Particular thanks go to Alice for being Alice and so friendly and calm and unflappable and to Sue in the Kitchen and her helpers for the Lunch which was delicious . Blue Point Siamese Male Adult 1st CC BOB Laws Flutterby Ricochet 24a M 4.4.12 Handsome youngster of very good overall type and style just beginning to gain that overall masculine look and has a lovely strong muscular feel. Medium wedge with large ears well set that could be a smidge larger for my preference almost straight profile with good chin and bite. Oriental eyes of a good colour and shape just a smidge straight set. Long strong muscular body with fine imbs and good length whip to balance. Overall points of a mid blue with a cool toned coat showing minimal shading that was a good texture. He had a sweet and loving temperament. And was Blue Point Female Adult 1st CC W/H Hetheringtons Hegira Minnie the Minx 24a 7.7.12 Just a Young lady of goodish type looking rather kittenish for her age and rather overawed by the occasion. Sweet temperament and very good condition but just not really ready for a CC today. Medium wedge with large ears than ideally need more flare and space between. Long elegant rather petite body with dainty limbs and spoon paws. Tail needs an inch for better balance. Mid to dark blue points that although were cool were not as well matched as the Male. Super Coat texture a shade long and not as cool toned as the male. Just needing some time to pull together. I note with interest that she is the daughter of the Chocolate female whom i awarded a CC today and she has taken a while to mature and has had a litter and now looks far more like the part. Just a slow burning line ? Chocolate Female Adult 1st CC BOB Hetheringtons Hegira Gracie Darling 24b F 27.10.10 Rather a shy lady of good type and style but just wanted to be in her pen. Was soon calmer with some coercing. Medium wedge with large well set ears almost straight profile with firmish chin and good bite. Her eyes were a good shape when she finally relaxed but did not look a great colour in her pen but i did manage tot take her to the day light where they were an acceptable colour – the light in the hall was very yellow and was not favourable in the corner of the show hall . Slightly dark but warm chocolate points but well matched and even in colour. Lightly shaded coat of good texture. Elegant lady of good type and style just rather nervous and needed time to assess. Caramel Point Adult 1st CC W/H Vankiewiecz Sensual Dancing Diamond 24N F 25.1.12 Petite miss of good type but looking very innocent today and she would insist on holding her eyes very full and this was untypical of the breed and no matter how long i left her to settle she would insist on looking very full in the eye and this coupled with her rather kittenish appearance meant that i could not justify the CC on the day – i was happy to talk to the owner later in the day and was glad to be able to talk through the positive points as well. Medium wedge with large ears fairly well set with almost straight profile with good chin and spot on bite. Very full eyes of a palish blue that need to be more oriental in shape and be a shade deeper in colour. Long elegant body developing well with fine limbs and whip tail to balance. Lilac based Caramel points showing on little evidence of a taupe colour on her ears and her hocks – this i would like to see more developed for her age. Clear coat of good texture if a shade long. Sweet nature and well presented Considerd for BOB and awarded Withers UK and Imp Gr Ch Tintally Tickerty Boo 24N F 15.5.10 This lady just oozes class and quality by the bucket full and is the most amenable cat to handle. She has many very good points and i could wax lyrical for hours but here are a few. She has got textbook colour lilac based caramel points with super taupe toned sludgy effect clear and well matched with stunning eyes for shape and colour as well as her size which yet elegant is substantial and robust and very feminine. She is very laid back and was a complete star to handle and well deserved the BOB and was ultimately Overall BIS for the 2nd Year running so many congratulations Also considered for BOB Simpson Ch Flutterby Rock Steady Eddy 24n M 29.3.10 Handsome boy of very good overall type and style again with a very loving nature and so laid back and again presented in super condition. Missed out on the BOB due to the sheer class and flash of the winner. This boy has a very even wedge with large well spaced ears lovely eyes for colour and a masculine and proud look. Lovely points for colour just a shade long on his coat but this was a good texture. I was please to see he went home with a new title so many congratulations . Tortie Point Siamese Female adult 1st CC W/H Browns Burnthwaites Mayflower 32B3 F 25.6.12 Very long and elegant miss of good type and style but again rather petite and dainty for a CC today I am afraid. Longer wedge but rather narrow and needing more width between her ears that although they were large but needing more flare. Almost straight profile with chin that ideally needs more depth and level bite. Oriental eyes of a mid blue but just needing to be less extreme in setting as this enhanced the exaggerated look. She had a very long slender body with long elegant limbs and very long whip tail to balance. Slightly dark chocolate tortie points that ideally could show more mingling although all her points show breaks. Lovely coat for texture and colour. Super temperament and presented well . Just needing more time to compete with the big girls. Considered for BOB and awarded to Brocks Uk Imp Gr Ch Karamushi Tuti Fruity 32B1 F 4.8.07 Mature and so balanced with such a strong look and presented impeccably. Medium wedge with large well set ears and almost straight profile with firm chin and good bite. Rather blunt in the muzzle today but looking good nonetheless. Lovely coat for texture and well mingled points a bit shaded but she is 6 now so to be expected. Lovely all knowing expression from super eyes for shape and colour. Well deserving the BOB Denholms Gr Ch Pippistrelle Patience 32B3 F26.08.09 Attractive lady of good type and style and so chatty with an endearing personality and looking good today lovely eyes for colour and expression well mingled choc tortie points all well matched. Good coat for texture and tail needs an inch for better balance. Attractive lady well presented with a super personality . Denholms Ch Adnioam Meesha Merrimoko 32B8 F 18.5.09 Another character who told me many tales whilst i judged her. She is a sweet lady of medium type with large ears that she can hold high sometimes. Rather full eyes of a medium blue and an almost straight profile. Good chin and ok bite. Long trifle plump body with a gorgeous coat for texture and only light shading evident. Well mingled caramel tortie points very attractively marked. Pretty lady just need more flare and style but has bags of character. Fawn Point Siamese Adult Male 1st IC BOB Jackson Lee’s Nightqueen Roulette 24r M 2.7.12 Huge and stylish youngster presented in superb condition and displays very good overall type and style with longer wedge with large ears set well on his head with strong profile with firm chin and good bite Oriental eyes of a good blue and super expression. Huge long body with long limbs and whip tail to balance. Gorgeous coat very clear of super texture and length. Lovely rosy fawn points well matched and even. A Handsome cat with promise. I was delighted to nominate him for BIS Male and delighted to see him attain this well done. Not easy for a Intermediate Colour Congratulations. Seal Point Siamese Kitten Female 1st BOB Calloway Drestothril Siamazing 24 F 27.11.12 Rather petite miss for her age of super type and style but rather feisty for such a tot and really needs to learn who is the Boss ?! Pretty little head with long strong profile with good chin and lovely oriental eyes and good expression, Large well set ears. Long body needing more size and substance for her age and needing a growth spurt. Dark rather cool toned seal brown points with a rather long cool toned coat. Pretty miss needing a growth spurt. Chocolate Point Siamese Kitten Female 1st BOB Davies Burnthwaites Scallywag 24B F 5.12.12. Tiny babe of super type and style with lovely warm toned chocolate points and very rich in tone and contrasting well against her warm coat. Longer wedge with large flared ears set well on her head, oriental eyes of good colour and shape. Super elegant body with tiny paws and elegant limbs and string like tail to balance. Sweet temperament and presented well. Super colour points and lovely strong type shall be interested to see her in a few months. My nomination for BIS 2nd Derricks Tintally Treacle Tart 24B F 5.11.12 Well grown young lady with a rather blunt wedge with large well set ears. Eyes a shade full but of a good colour. Long strong well grown body with good coat for texture and colour. Darker toned choc points although showing some warmth ideally needing to match better. She was also showing a small pinch today. Well grown miss presented well . 3rd Websters Nampema Serendipity 24B F 25.10.12 Another well grown miss but sadly with colour faults today and this placed her 3rd. Medium wedge with large ears that although were well set ideally need more flare. Good eye shape with eyes of a palish blue ideally needing more depth of colour. Cool toned coat rather beige in tone not warm cream – and her points were very dark and rather seal toned – showing minimal warmth and they were not well matched being darker on her face and tail and ears being lighter. I could not ignore this on the day and spoke to her breeder/owner afterwards who explained that they had thought she was seal originally and will be interested to see her in a few months. Sweet temperament and presented well. Tabby Point Female Kitten 1st BOB Withers Tintally Tasty Morsel 32/3 F 5.11.12 Quite stylish miss of very good type and style attractive lady with medium wedge with large well set ears set well on head. Super elegant neckline with long elegant body dainty limbs and whip tail to balance. Mid Choc tabby points well traced in a warm choc with clear M and Face ribbons and good leg bars with tail rings evident. Promising baby of super type and style with a sweet temperament. Tabby point Siamese Neuter Male 1st PC BOB Greens Simplismitten Spiridion 32/10 MN 28.3.09 Huge long and handsome body of very good overall type and style. Longer wedge with large well set ears set well on head tiny dip to profile with good chin and bite. Oriental eyes of a good colour and expression. Long elegant neckline with super long body and long limbs to match. Good apricot tabby points well matched in a good blush tone with clear tabby markings evident on all points. Slightly long coat of good texture. Well presented . Handsome Cat with lovely temperament. 2nd Greens Simplismitten Caramelomine 32/8 MN 28.3.09 Litter brother to the winner but very different in head type. Very long wedge with large ears just needing more space between and rather extreme eye shape looking rather deep set. Although of a good colour. Super long elegant body again with long limbs and whip tail to balance. Super Blue based caramel tabby points with well traced in a dark purplish toned caramel with brownish tones evident. Attractive personality and very well presented. Considered for BOB Johnsons Pr Sulalaya Ice Warrior Handsome chap that was presented in pristine condition and positively gleamed with health was just pipped to the BOB on balance this boy today looked rather unbalance by his rather portly tum which in turn made his head look too small and this made his ears look small. He is an endearing chap of lovely temperament just needing to trim down and he will look much improved. Tortie Point Female Neuter 1st PC Veal and Smiths Pippistrelle Esmerelda 32B1 FN 8.2.11 Rather a shy lady who soon relaxed and looked far better in the pen than out. Medium wedge with large ears that she could hold high. Almost straight profile with firm chin and good bite. Oriental eyes of a mid blue with good expression. Long elegant body with long limbs and whip tail to balance. Seal Tortie points well matched and mingled with varying shades of red. Pretty lady deserving her PC today Considered for BOB and Awarded to Pounds Ch and Gr Pr Jomese Jenni Igotbluspots 32B2 FN 2.11.10 What can i say about this young lady i have judged her numerous times now and my comments remain the same she for me is so stylish and elegant but substantial and really for me today looked super with not a hair out of place. Well done on BIS Neuter and was my Vote for Best Siamese today as i though she just had the edge. Well Done Weatherills Imp Gr Pr Burnthwaites Good time Gal 32B1 FN Another attractive lady of good type for me she has many good points but today she was a smidge narrow on top spoiling her balance and she needs a shade more flare. She does have lovely points for mingling and shows plenty of reds and has a gorgeous coat for texture. Such an attractive temperament she lay in my arms as we had a long chat. Superb condition
